College of Engineering Vadakara, formerly Co-operative Institute of Technology was set up in the year 1999 by Co-operative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE), a Government of Kerala undertaking. The college is affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and recognized by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.
